My project displays personal meaning by the detail of the ship. It's years of drawing put into one drawing, a ship that I made almost one year ago, when I combined the Olympic and Lusitania into one ship. I thought a lot about how this ship would look in real life, since it's such a massive ship. I thought about this a lot simply because it's such a unique ship in how it's made. I'm pleased the most with how much detail went into the ship, with shading and windows in the promenade deck, which I've never done before. Another thing is the new addition of a place for zeppelins to moor onto on the stern. Two things I'd do differently is perhaps added some light shadow to the funnels, and made some more realistic water, but time restraints didn't allow for it.

I'm doing the graffiti art. I've always wanted to make an angled drawing of my ship but I haven't found an opportunity for it yet. I'm finishing superstructure detail at this point. Some challenges so far is actually angling the lines the right way. Some successes so far is how smooth the lines are.I was working on the science mural. I enjoyed doing the red paint the most. A challenging part of the mural was painting the top. My favorite job of the mural was painting the red. This will make the school environment feel less lonely. |
